Well i have had my duals for about 5 months now, and i just got my cats removed as a christmas present (Good ole dad!) It is loud!! The idle sounds great. There are a few rattles that i am gonna have to look for and i may have the shop take my car for a spin to see if they hear any leaks. I think i hear some. Overall i am very happy. When i start up the car, i get that sound that i wanted when i first got my exhaust. Gotta love no emission/inspection states!!

I am also really surprised that my car hasn't thrown any codes at me. No check engine lights at all!

 

The best way to check for leaks is to get under it while it's cold and have someone crank it. run your hands around all the pipe connections and see if you feel any air. Just don't actually touch the pipes, they heat up pretty fast.

Exhaust clips?

 

no clips yet, just got it put on yesterday. I sounds mean at idle though! There is some banging around though when i floor it. I am not sure if its just how it sounds now, or if there is some metal hitting somewhere. Anyone else have them off and know if that sound is normal or not?
