Default removing badges

i would like to remove the mustang badges on the sides of my car and replace them with the 3.8 badges. i was wondering if removing the mustang badges will hurt the paint at all and will the 3.8 badges cover any marks lft behind

Well depends on what 3.8 badges you get, but they should cover up the hole left in the fender by the emblem. As long as you take your time, you won't damage the paint. Click on my sig, they have a writup about the best way to take off, and put on emblems, being that's what they specialize in.

I'll tell you how much of a bitch its going to be. You will have one side that will come off very easily. Once you see how nice that comes off you'll think the other side is goign to be that easy but ohhh very wrong!! The other side will just take the emblem off, but the adhesive will remain on your car.

So, thats when you take a heater gun, hot water, an old credit card and start peeling away at it. I also used Bug and tar remover and hope you have a lot of upper arm strength cuz you'll be there a while!!!

Any acidic based cleaner would work to remove the adhesive in no time. Same as when I took my pinstripe off.

lol brett you probably scared him out of doin it... its easy, just pull them off it wont hurt your paint or anything... theres gonna be about a 1/2" hole and a 1/4" hole that has to be covered tho, so i hope the 3.8 will cover it...
