the audio thread is terrible so sorry for posting in here but im hopeing someone will actually answer in here.. i got this for xmas..

and i went to get it installed today and the guy said my speakers that the owner before me put in were alot better and that the stock cd player holds 6 cds and is better and i was wondering (after i got ALL the way home) is that the only reason bc it holds 6 cds? bc if thats it i still want to put in only the head unit but im not sure so i need help

again sorry for posting in here so dont yell at me

OK, well what's your question. Also, no offence, but that stereo unit looks cheaply made, it wouldn't suprise me if your stock unit isn't actually better. Also what speakers did you get?

i kno my gf got it for me lol but yea i think i might just have her take it back and get me somethin else problem is shes only got about 150$ and theres not much it can buy me so idk what else i could get for my car. might just have to get other stuff

WOW so my dad just told me that i could get 2 subs and he would pay the difference from the money my gf will get back from takin the old system back.. i was wondering what some good brands are for them and what all i need like an amp and all that.. thanks

jl audio 10w1v2's in a sealed box unless you only listen to rap then you can get a ported box.

sealed box size = .625 cubic feet<needs to be this size or only a lil bit bigger at the most
ported box size= 1.00 cubic feet

JL Audio is one of the current leading mid ranged sub brands on the market, I have them and love them, now I just have to get a 4 channel amp, and a larger alternator, and I'm set.[8D]
