Yeah told the guy to do it he told me i can do it but it wont do u much maybe 2 hp if even that but sound wise, what u guys think will it improv the sound if i just tell them to build me an x pipe and run it after cats. This dudes a mustang freak that builds custom exhaust setups and he told me cats do not restrict the flow thats just a BS myth. It just burns down excess fuel.

If you're gonna get Flowmaster 40s, get the Delta 40s. BTW, Im glad I own hip-waders, because there is a retarded amount of bull sh*t in this threa. A lot ot ignorance comes out of the wood works when the most simple questions are asked.

flowmaster 40's

MAC exhaust cannot compare to it. Force mufflers with the same setup will sound like the Flowmasters

that's BS. it you simply removed the cats and kept the y-pipe you would have more gain than keeping the stock cats and an H or X-pipe.

the stock cats are real restrictive. that is where most of the sound difference comes from when you get a catback. removing the stock cats and replacing them with high flow cats.

EDIT: the other big myth is backpressure. you don't need it

just have him remove the rear cats and replace them with pipes. you would still be legal and it will give you some power gains.

I gota go to the shop on monday and see if they're gona do it,take the rear cats of and weld in an X pipe .It should be legal, since nevada does emissions it was told that if they catch anyone without cats or illegal exhaust setup they have a right to impound your car and fine u which blows lol so i`m trying to play it the safe way.
