junk yard block
ok, so i found a early 90s ford tbird with a 3.8 in a junk yard, it has 160k on it, if i were to strip it down and get the block and crank rebalanced and boared over and all that would there be a problem with doing a new build up on a block with so many miles? should i take the computer out of the car as well? idlike to get the motor but the build up, me being in school and working and it being my first whole motor build up would take a very long time to do, i have everything picked out i dont need all that, i just want to know if its ok to use a block with so many miles on it, the car was rearended and totaled.
or should i just skip out on the 3.8 build up till i have more money and go with the big cam 383 for my maro

big cam 383 till you've got cash gets my vote. actually, ls1 swap really gets my vote. chebbies are so stupid easy to make power with, you'd be a fool not to mod the maro in place of the sixer.
