on a stock motor, a properly tuned 14 psi turbo or 11 psi blower will be fine, for nitrous im not really sure, a 75 shot is no problem, im sure people have ran more, justin at vmptuning.com is running 17 psi through a 100% stock motor, it is his dd even though boost is turned down to 14 for the DD

no one has busted a block or crank cause the 3.8 is an underdog for fords "muscle car V-8" so no one reallly builds them, it is believed they are capable of the majical 1000 mark however

wouldnt the internals have to be beefed up to run those numbers? I thought they fail at like around 300-350 rwhp. The block itself is close to indestructable.

boost doesn't kill your engine, the power it produces does.
no the power has nothing to do with it compared to an improper tune. you can make 320rwhp with a procharger on a stock engine if you run it real lean but boom. 290rwhp with a conservative tune and it will last as long as a factory NA setup
