i am going to be putting stage 2 comp cams in my car in the next few weeks. i already have full bolt-ons. i know that i should get a dyno tune and i am planning on it. The question that i have now is DO I HAVE TO UPGRADE MY REAR END. i drag race somwtimes. only like 2 passes every other wekeend and i never run slicks

 

thats a good a$$. i think i would just to launch better off the line. but im not the expert. i would do it though cuz it would benifit the ride.

Just adding cams will not give you much more power then u already have so no ur rearend can be left alone. Id get gears if you dont already. Plus like you have already said NEVER RUN SLICKS.

misimformed. the cam is one of Ford's ways of keeping power down in the v6. it is weak. but go with a full powerpak. it will make a huge difference. then get some 4.10s and a detroit.

she won't break the rearend. the tires will spin before that happens. i meant a cam is an underrated mod for the sixxers.
