you know when you get a cam you have to at least get new springs, if not more,with it? just makin sure you knew.

Anyways, a cam will not blow the rear end, even a cam and a fully ported system. The cam, aggressiveness pending, will net you around 15-25 rwhp, a full port job (power pack) will net you another15-20 rwhp, maybe more as that's just a restrictive ball park guess. I would, however, have the gears swaped and the rear end upgraded shortly after the swap for the sole purpose of keeping traction off the line, because you're probably gonna start having problems hooking up off the line with a stock open differential.

get it tuned after the cams so you can squeeze every little bit of power out of it.

oh, and yeah, get a posi and some gears and get some drag radials. Nittos are fine for every day driving
