Default 3.73 question

Hey I am thinking about getting 3.73's for my 06 4.0L stang. I have heard a lot of ppl say to get a t-lok or an LSD. Is this necessary to get? thanks

A t-lok is an LSD. It's one type of them.

It's not necessary, but you might as well while the rear end it apart. No sense in paying the install fee twice.

The t-lok is fine for a while, but if you plan on higher HP or hard launches, save a lot of headaches and get something better like a true trac or auburn posi.

used 3.73s from mpsautosalvage.com, or new ones from american muscle.com, you need a bering kit to

either a trash-lok or true trac, and a tuner are needed
