Yeah, I was gonna comment to, I was just reading the thread over all the way through to see if anybody else got to it first and dammit, somebody did.

And Honda makes perfectly fine cars. They have several great accomplishments to thier name, if I recall, the S2000 has the highest HP/Displacement ratio of all the cars ever made. I'm sorry, but that car is ****ing badass. I'd own one if they were cheaper. You think I own a Mustang because it's better than a honda? **** no, Mustang's are just cheaper and are accepable replacements. I'd take a G35, S2000, NSX, WRX, or EVO over my car any day. But I don't have those cars, I have a mustang, and I'm tuning it to BEAT those cars, like any self respecting car enthusiast should: Build your car so you no longer want the cars you don't have. That, or own the car you want... but hey. It's not that I don't LOVE my car, I just wouldn't mind owning those other cars, sake-sippers or not.

 

Overall Japanese and Europeans make better cars than Americans. For the most part. Hondas and Toyota's (more no Honda) are almost impossible to kill. America makes awesome muscle cars (since we invented them) and pretty decent trucks. We never just got the hang of making sedans and compact economy cars. A friend of mine had a Taurus that **** the bed at about 75k miles. Just after the warranty was up, lol.
