Just can't go wrong with half-naked women.

Not trying to sound offensive.

DRESS UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Engine bay and interior dress ups go a long way, but word of advice would be to remove them after shows, because as I'm learning, they are an absolute pain to upkeep. Work on the car, bang, they get scratched, pop the hood after a nice drive, bang, they're dirty as hell. Interiors you can/should leave on, but keep the underhood dress ups in packages in the trunk or rear seat for shows only.
Kind of costly, but will deffinitly turn heads.

ENGINE

Radiator cap cover
Winshield cap cover and reservior cover
Fuse box cover
Radiator cover (about the only thing you really can't take back off, well in 5 seconds anyways)
Oil cap cover
Upper Radiator hose replacement (chrome)
dip stick handle replacement
*Cold Air Intake*
Alternator cover
Battery box cover
Hose dress up kit
Color aftermarkter spark plug wires
Caster camber bolt covers
Billit/painted pullies (U/D pullies)
Strut tower bar
Custom intake paint jobs (when applicable)

INTERIOR

Shifter ****
Tilt adjuster
Turning signal ****
Control button replacement covers (window and lock switch covers)
Coat hangers
Door sills
Door *****
A/C *****
Steering wheel control button covers (cruise controle etc.)
Seat covers or racing seats
Floor mats
Steering wheel covers
Stereo (always a big hit)
Custom interior paint jobs (when applicable)

Yes, it is very expensive to do all this, but you could have an other wise stock car, and sweep shows in your class with just these mods, becuase as long as it's clean, well upkept, and flows well color wise, you'll deffinitly turn heads. See http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/, http://www.hosetechniques.com/, http://www.uprproducts.com/,http://www.autobadges.com/, http://www.mgwltd.com/, and http://www.showstang.com/. Those are about your best sites for some serious dress up ideas.

1. Fake dog statue peeing on the tire
2. Baby doll leaning on the car
3. Photo album of mod process
4. Poster board of specs and mods
5. Scale model of a car like yours sitting on the intake manifold

Those are the most common that I see.
