Default V6 Lighting.

So i'm not to sure this is the right forum. But i figure you guys would know it bests. Ok so i have a regular 2000 base model stang. With the regular bumper and all. I was wanting to put in some fog lights. Surfing some of the sites of our supporters. Support them back. I like www.stangmods.com. They seem pretty top notch. Though I had a few questions.

Ok firsts one. Now being a regular non Gt mustang i was wondering if these fog lights would do me well. They said for V6. But that's the only ones I see.

Ok second question. So i really do like the 8000k blue look. And what throws me off is when i see something like this. CanI not just buy2 bulbs and install it in the fog lights for the same desired effect or do I have to upgrade to the right fixture to support such a thing?

Third question. I really do like these headlamps. Mine are starting to get all faded and I can't say i like the yellow in it. Now my question is, When I get those fog lights to my desired 8000k blue look, do I just get a bulb for my headlamp to match it?

I'm not really bright, Yet. I appreciate any help or feedback. Also i'll attach a picture of my stang if it helps. Thanks!

1. That fog light kit seems to be fine for v6s. However, you can get the kit $20 cheaper at vmptuning im pretty sure.

2. I'm pretty sure you need a specific fixture for HID, hence why you see HID conversion kits all over the place.

3. Those headlights look fine, not ricey and get rid of that awful amber color on the side of the headlights. However, like I said in 2, you probably will need an HID conversion kit to get your bulbs that you want.

Welcome to the forums and nice ride!

1- www.vmptuning.com. A clear fog kit is $155+ shipping. should come out cheaper then that, unless you pick next day air delivery[8D]

to get the 8k look you need a hid kit. they arent just bulbs. it has a starter and and a few things to go with it. the stock housing is fine. you just have to buy the $250 kit with a balast and bulb and everythign. one for the headlights and one for the fog lights.

the fogs and headlights are fine, i prefer the smoked over the chrome but thats just my opinion, the lights u can upgrade to some silverstars or luminics to get the faux hid look and a little improved brightness but for the real effect u need the HID kit
