Default lowering

ok, i was thinking about it, and instead of getting a body kit to make my car look lower, i can go with the look+performace aspect of getting new springs...

i think i remember hearing that if you go more than 1.5', or atleast 2', then you have to get a whole new suspension package.. hows that work?

is the car already lowered more in the front? if not i want to lower it 1' in the front and 1.5' in the back, unless its already lowered more in the front, also, im a poor college student, not alot of money... so without having to get all new struts/shocks/etc, just the springs, how low should i take it and recommended brands? (eibach, roush?)

your car would look retarded with more drop in the back than the front. you won't find springs to do that anyway.

i have h&r sports and it lowers about 1.6 all around. i then took the front isolators out to get it a little more in the front. i eventually put in caster/camber plates to help align the front because of irregular tire wear.

These are the ones I'm getting. I don't want to have to get caster / camber plates and drive at angles to avoid dragging.

Those say 2" front and 1.8" rear though. If you get those you'll need the plates.

+1. you will need cc plates anything lower than 1.6" in the front and you will need camber bolts or cc plates...your choice for anything from about 1.4-1.6

I have in my garage H&R supersports and some MM C/C plates.
From what I heard and seen they are awesome, and regardless of what everyone else says, make the investment and get Caster Camber plates unless you are only going to lower it MAX 1in.
It will save you in the long run.

This weekend!!!

I still owe my dad $280 but he's letting me use my recent pay check to get them installed.

I keep playing with the springs and cc plates, just looking at em. haha.
