Default Racing tips....?

probally not the place to ask about racing.. yes i know there is a particular forum..... but with an auto what is the best way to take off.... i've usually used petal to the floor but i heard something from another member that some part sort-a locks up and slower push on the petal to the floor will be better?? any suggestions to get the best launch.. and after launch and tips....? thanx

press the brake hard and keep ur left foot on it. at the same time press the gas and hold it at about 1500RPM. when its time to go, let off the brake and floor it.

^+1 i dont think there is really any better way to launch your car, except maybe if you can rev it a little high then 1500 without the tire breaking loose

Basically push the break in, rev up to a good 2500 rpms, or a little lower, whichever suits you, and let off the break slowly, to help gain traction while maximizing accelleration, while pushing down on the accelleration, don't dump the break and slam on the gas, you kind of have to ease off the break, and ease a little harder on the gas. This allows you to accellerate quicker off the line, without spinning out and lossing time. It will take alittle while to get it down, as it has to be fairly precise forbest resuluts,but once you do, you'll definitly be shaving some time off your 1/4.
