press the brake hard and keep ur left foot on it. at the same time press the gas and hold it at about 1500RPM. when its time to go, let off the brake and floor it.

I have to do this daily to pull out onto the busy *** highway.
Basically push the break in, rev up to a good 2500 rpms, or a little lower, whichever suits you, and let off the break slowly, to help gain traction while maximizing accelleration, while pushing down on the accelleration, don't dump the break and slam on the gas, you kind of have to ease off the break, and ease a little harder on the gas. This allows you to accellerate quicker off the line, without spinning out and lossing time. It will take alittle while to get it down, as it has to be fairly precise forbest resuluts, but once you do, you'll definitly be shaving some time off your 1/4.
