Default Fuel Pump

So I ordered the xcal2 with a 93 tune and it came in on Friday.. Filled up my tank with 87 on Thursday night, so I had to drain a tank of that before getting a chance to use the damn thing. First thing it says is to disconnect my fuel pump, and I've googled it, looked in the manual, searched it on here, and no dice.

Can anyone give me a location as to where this thing is, or would I have to take it somewhere and let a auto place do it?

The fuel pump is in the gas tank. Why do they want you to disconnect it?

It just says "First disconnect the fuel pump and electric fan fuses.", then tells me how to find the tune that it came with.

For some reason I thought it was in the trunk....behind the carpet.
The on/off switch that is.

Yeah I saw that in the manual, but could I just turn it off rather then disconnect it?

The pump is in the tank but the fuse is in the fuse block.
