yea you can do it but you will have to fab up a bracket to hold the shaker. and about the water thing. the rubber seal will keep the water out. it has a drain tube that you route to the side of the engine bay or wherever then the shaker usually has another drain tube in the intake part going from the scoop to the filter but you wont have that. so i would probably just seal it off where the tubing usually connects.
