I took my old set of subs out of my 98 last year and stuck them under my project 67 for storage reasons. Well, I smelled some nasty funk in that area for the last couple days and finally found those bstds dead inside the sub. They apparently wanted to build a family in there and couldn't find their way back out the ports. And to make it worst, those fers chewed the sub material[:@]..

Moral of the story: Cover port holes when your subs aren't in use...

 

[:'(]. that sucks man. are you gonna try to get the smell out and use the box? that really sucks.

 

It was just some crappy 40$ sub and box combo, but still, it was hard to get those things out...Ill just trash it, its taking up room...

 

well its good that its not too much of a loss. still sucks though.
