well this is the problem and i thought it was the alternator....when i turn on all my lights and my flip out screen and stop at the red light and hit the breaks, or roll down the windows. Anything with more power my car bogs down to about 500rpms and vibrates, would a udp help with this?

A udp will drop your out put even more, the factory pully is already somewhat of a udp, it is larger that the pulley's used on the v8s that use this same alternator (it is used on more than the sixes). How much **** are you pushing, what kind of battery are you running and what size cabeling? One of the biggest misconceptions is that the alternator supports the main load of the electrical system. It actually maintains the system, the battery is the "shock absorber" also your cabeling has to be large enough to accomadate your accessories. It could also be the fact that you need a new alternator, how many miles, what year? I rebuilt mine at 115k, works like a champ again, all it really needed was brushes. when the brushes get short, or the commutator rings are worn, you will get reduced output, also the regulator could be weak, and sensing the need for higher output, it goes into "full load" mode and bogs the **** out of the engine.
