Does this underdrive pulley look right?
Hey guys, I just bought this MAC underdrive pulley set for my 96 mustang v6.
When I opened it up it had instructions for a 5.0L mustang.
So now I'm wondering if this is the right set for my car?
I just attached a picture of it to this post.
Could some of the pros help me out here? Thanks. =)

The crank pulley looks just like the oneIrecieved from ASP. For sixersI thoughtthat was all we needed, I never recieved the other one thatI can only assume to be an alternator pulley.
Well, I bought this set off of Ebay. The guy advertised it as a set for 96-98 v6 mustangs. But it came with instructions for a 5.0L mustang. LoL.
Also, I thought the alternator or idler pulley was supposed to have some kind of bearings in it? Cuz this one doesn't. =)

Well I thought only the 99+ new edge mustangs had the harmonic balancer.
I have a 96 mustang v6. All the pictures that I have found for the Mac pullies all look the same as mine.
I'm just trying to figure out if this is the right one or if I need to send it back to the seller.
Thanks.

Some come with the harmonic balencer, but mine didn't. It did make installation a hell of alot easier. It's been on for a few months and i've had no problems with it.
I removed the belt,, took out the radiator fan, took off the four pulley to balencer bolts, then took off the stock pulley. Replace with the new pulley, apply the blue tread locker to the bolts, torque them on in a criss-crossing pattern, put on the new belt, and go. All i needed was a socket wrench, a three inch extention and i think it was an 18mm deep socket. Took about 20-25 min.
