well i was so happy...i finally got my nitrous hooked up last night and me and my dad took it for a ride....wow.....the kickback was awesome....but anyways...he floored it and we got up to about 80 and then.......knocking........im screwed........

 

Looks like you may have to change your sig from needing a bottle warmer and remote opener to "I need a new car"

did you tune it? upgrade the fuel system? what size shot

look for a 4.2 from a f150

 

i was runnin boosted 93 and no i hadnt tuned it but ryan hasnt either.....it shouldnt have happend because he had just floored it and the nitrous had just started sprayin then boom

Doesn't matter what the shot is, you should have tuned it. Also, you're not suppossed to start with the shot you want to use, you're suppossed to step yourself up, in otherwords, start off with a 25, then a 50, then a 75, etc. It allows your ecu and engine to adapt to the boost. Also, did you redo your stock spark plugs, or even tamper with the fuel pressure regulator?

 

Did you flash tune your car at any time? If you did the timing was advanced too much and that'll sure do it. Also did you install cooler plugs first? Hot plugs will detonate and cause engine damage. Did you put in a new fuel filter?

It sucks man, but as u said, he floored it, im guessing ur dad floored it. i look at this way u brake it u buy it or atleast buy a new one. sucks that it happend to u man. if u have to replace ur engine, let me know i might be interested in purshaseing the f**ked up one
