that really sux, deff a mess up from ford, i knew the fob wouldnt work cause i have also tried popping the trunk but my mom leaves her expedition cranked all the time and locks the doors and can get in fine, like i said deff something that they worked on and fixed

You can open the drivers side door with a spare key with the car locked while running. I do it regularly in winteron both an '03 and '04 model.

I just checked in my 98 and yes, the spare will open it. The remotes will not do anything, the the key will open doors and trunk..

how much was it? now that i have an automatic that sounds like something to get so my truck can be nice and toasty and ill save a lot of time in the mornings.

how would you crawl through the trunk exactly?...the rear seat fold-down release is on the INSIDE of the car...[&:]

and shelby auto security has a remote start/alarm system for $500 (not including install)
