hood alignment
okay, first off it is my fault which bothers me the most but i left something under the hood one time and now it sticks up on the right side. What could have bent, isnt the hood fiberglass? i dont know ive tried sitting on it bending it with the hood up and adjusting the rubber bumpers on the hood any ideas?
here is the left side which is properly aligned

RE: hood alignment
thanks it my baby which is why it pisses me off so bad, i have this little leather tape measure that is flat black and i was measuring for a CAI in there and i set it on the engine bay there and forgot about it since it blends in like perfect, and i shut the hood it didnt shut so i gave it some force and it shut, went to work, came back and noticed it was stickin up, popped the hood and when ****, immediatly removed the tape and started bending and sitting on the hood its better than it was but now i can spot it every time i look at it even tho it isnt that noticable cause i have never had anyone comment on it before.
I still need ideas if anyone has any???

RE: hood alignment
It's one of those things that only someone who sees and drives the car everyday will notice. Same thing with my interior trim. It's a slightly slightly lighter yellow than the car paint, but I'm the only person who was able to tell.
As far as the hood, I'd take it to a body shop. Personally, I would have had a body shop do it in the first place. I'm cool when it comes to mechanical and technical parts of the car, but I'm real careful and cautious when it's body work. Only thing I'd trust myself is chin spoiler.

Spin the right rubber stopper thing on that link^^^ to the right a little bit. That will lower the hood and fix the "problem." I bought my car wrecked and after we fixed it it wasn't properly aligned so we messed with that a little bit.
