hood alignment

It is possible that your hood latch is causing you this issue. Remove the plastic cover behind and around the hood latch. Remove the three mount bolts for the hood latch( one on top and two facing the front, 6 mm bolts) and the one torx screw that going to the support bar. Move the latch out of the way (I laid mine at the front of the car, running the cable between the headlight and bumper cover). Now lower your hood and adjust the bumpers until the hood is sitting properly. After you have it correctly aligned, then you will have to reinstall the hood latch. The hood latch will have to be aligned as well.

Heres a crazy thought. Would sticking that tape roll on the other side and slamming the hood on it and leaving it for the same amount of time correct the align or would both sides then be high?
