Rims
well.... that depends.... on my rims... i cant spin out as much as i could with stock ones because they are wider and grip better... but for speed u are concerned with ... it does a lil.... but honestly... if you have a v6 mustang u can substite a lil bit of speed for looks because your not going to notice a difference
It's not like you have a 9 or 10 second car where that you take to the track every other day and have to worry about every tenth of a second. I'd go with some 17's or 18's. Chrome Saleens would look awesome on your car.
Like said above, if you are getting only an inch or 2 bigger, it wont do anything. Actually, if you get aluminum ones(arent most aftermarkets today aluminum?), there will be a considerable less amount of weight at each corner.
Larger wheels will throw your speedometer off alittle, but its not a big concern. My car hit the governer at 120, but the speedometer said I was doing 115, so it barely does anything...
Just dont get super deep dished ones, THAT will slow u down..

This might be a dumb question, but.....
I want to get some rims, but wont rims slow the car down since there is more rotaional mass to spin?

You have an old mustang with nothing on it (CAI doesn't count)... I mean, you are slow as hell... man... and you worry about being slower... Ok, let me start over. Dont buy rims. buy new car. Good rims would run you around 1k-2k with tires. That's pretty much the value of your car. With nice rims you are not going to fool anyone. Everybody can see that your car... .well .... (fill the blank)

Assholism..... hmmm, yeah, that is pretty good. And yes, you are right, I probably do. but prove me I am wrong. Nothing is going to help his car to be better... it is sh!!!t6464. no rims make it better.
