the internals are not limited on boost, they are limited on power. boost makes power, and so does all the other bolt-on's, so it's the combined power(horsepower) from both that you have to look at.they have been pushed to 425ish hp before, but even the owner admited that was pushing it.
imo, a good tune arround 300hp would be ideal if you want it to last.

www.rpm-mustangs.com
www.supersixmotorsports.com
www.moranav6racing.com

take your pick on ported heads all three have excellent ported heads

www.tmaturbo.com Andy Littleton of TMA turbo can make a setup for your needs. you don't need separate intercoolers. a procharger 2 core is fine and a 3 core is better.

Justin Starkey at www.vmptuning.com can handle the tuning needs as well as injectors,MAF and fuelpump. he's the best us 6er's have for tuning. his TT on an internally stock 3.8 made over 400rwhp.

my reccomendations are:
fully ported heads and intakes from any of the three above
big comp cams billet cam with supersix 1.7 rockers ir HS 1.73 rockers. do not use 1.8's with a big cam or reground cams. they give bad geometry
42-60lb injectors depending on boost
svt focus fuel pump
SCT big air MAF
Forged 8.5:1 pistons on H-beam rods
Nitride treat the crank

what ever powerlevel you want to make is up to you and the amount of money you can spend.

500rwhp is not out of the question and 600rwhp isn't either
