yea i had a K&N CAI and had to send it back. My car couldn't hold an idle at all. Don't waste you money on the K&N get a MAC fenderwell or something.

No, they're saying don't bother with a CAI at all - MAC or K&N or anyone else's.

i support the CAI. I've got an eBay one in the firewall. Never had a problem. No tune req'd, no idle probs, installed in about 1-2hrs when i had no idea what I was doing, and it made a pretty nice change in sound. hehehe...

Well, so do I, but I'm not counting every penny I spend on a car.A CAI is not worth the money for the little bit of performance gained from it, but it doesn't hurt anything either.

I totally agree if you buy a brand name anyway. Way to much money for what you get but a CAI from ebay can be had for $42.00 shipped. Even if you only gain 2-3 hp it's worth it cause a K & N filter alone cost more than that.

sorry saying u remove the maf screen, and air silencer with a new filter and claiming its the same power as a MAC CAI for example is a load of BS

v6stang: yours depends on the driver, and auto/stick as well. If I was a better driver and you had exhaust and CAI I could still beat you
