im not saying im not going to give up on the supercoupe s/c idea, but i need other mods before i can run this superchager to its full potiential, like exhaust, lsd, injectors, fuel pump, tune, plus right now my tires are bald and my rims look ****ty as hell... One thing at a time, and each mod i do will lead to the supercharger, which will be my last and biggest mod, i promise to have it done by spring-summer 2008

You may want to put the car on the dyno before investing in things you may not need to spend money on. An M90 does not make a TON of power. Only way to know for sure is to get it on a dyno, and have them monitor injector duty cycles. We also look at fuel pump duty cycles, MAF voltage, EGT's, AFR etc. A lot of people think that bigger injectors are required. We find that to be true only 50% of the time. Same with a MAF. So you look at MAF counts while it is on the box. As I said in a pevious post, the first thing that will go, are the head gaskets.

You were talking in the previous post about a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, etc. What I am saying is that you may NOT need a bigger pump or bigger injectors until you begin some testing. We know approximately how much HP a certain pump or injector will support. Lets say you install the S/C. How much boost were yoy planning on running? That will also determine those things. Keep this rule in mind. Every pound of boost will net you 10 HP. Whether centrifugal or hybrid roots or twin screw. All the same. So will your stock injector support an extra 60 HP if you run 5-6 pounds. It most likely will. Same with the pump.

So why spend cash on things you may not need?
