Question...
I finally got a hood scoop for my 99 v6. Does anybody know where i can get a template to install it? I've heard its not all that difficult, but drilling holes into my own vehicle isn't something im crazy about.

The GT hood scoop on a 6 hood is tricky. I did this to my wife’s car, They will fit but its real close and the blots under hood are kind of at an angle.
And , you can't mount it in the same place as the GT hood, because of the lowered area in the hood. Good thing is, that there is about a 1 inch flat spot under the scoop, so you and be a little off and it will work. Drill the holes bigger than needed and use washers, this will allow you to move the scoop to make it look right. Use a long drill bit to get threw the bracing.
Under the hood where the drill came threw in the bracing , drill a 1 to 1 1/4 inch hole to get a socket wrench in .It will look good when done though.
