Default Spring isolators

OK, I have a set of Ford racing 'C' springs coming and not sure if I should use the isolators or not. They lower the car about 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear but I want a little more than that. If I don't use the isolators will they be noisy though? I've heard of wraping black tape on them but does that last or will it wear off and squeak?

black tape would probably hold for a little while but not do much in the end. you can take the front out but ive heard the back will squeek. ive had my front out for a long time and had no problems.

Damn, it's mainly the back I was hoping to leave off. The car already has a rake to it and all the springs lower it more in the front so it'll have even more rake. Oh well, thanks guys.

like i said though, thats what ive "heard" so it might not be true. you can alwasy try it and if they start to squeak you can put the isolators back in. then you can tell us for sure weather its true or not.
