sooo i was coming home from school today when some jackass changes lanes in front of me when there was very little room to do it in, and immediatly slamms on his brakes for another car. i have no where to go exept straight into the back of him, our cars are scattered and 5 more cars end up in the accident. it was pretty bad but luckily little damage was done to my car exept for the fact that my new cobra front bumper is done and my old one will have to go back on. worse yet, the cops said it was my fault and wrote me a ticket for "following to closley", well i wouldnt have been following so damn closly if the dumbass didnt cut me off! so i think im gunna fight the ticket, i know that i wasnt in the wrong. just thought id share cause im pissed, i wunna hear some comments and opinions

if you rear end somebody, 99% of the time it's automatically your fault. sucks, but at least you're ok.

^^^^ i know il probally get the blame but its sucks knowing that the guy who actually caused the whole pile up is going to get no blame at all. im ok, but some people got smashed up pretty bad, but nobody was hurt too bad as far is i know

Damn, sorry to hear that...sucks, but that's the truth, you rear-end someone = your fault.

I agree it sucks but what the judge will probably tell you is as soon as he got in front of you you should have hit your brakes to make more space between you and I hate to say it but he's right.
