I think Nitrous Express is one of the favorites, and a 75-100 are the recommended shots with a tune...maybe the 75 w/o a tune.

I don't have it on this car but I've used it for years without any engine damage. I wouldn't go over a 50hp shot without a tune myself, with a tune 100 hp. You'll need spark plugs that are 2 steps cooler than stock and to be on the safe side go with a dry kit. It has one less solinoid to screw up and if it does all that will happen is you will run too rich which is way better than too lean. Lastly read up on before you hit the switch so you know how to use it right.

I wouldnt even shoot my little "sneaky pete NOS" in my car without a tune. There is way too much Nitrous/fuel in without a tune. To me it just isnt worth the risk

Okay, here we go! Read it a few times before you decide you want to do this.

1. Your engine is honestly a pretty crappy one due to the year, you'll need to replace your headgaskets with the newer design before doing anything like thisto your car. If you've done this already, then disregard.

2. A 75hp DRY kit is plenty, if used properly! The reason I say dry over wet is a good tune on a dry kit will always give you the fuel you need, whereas a wet kit may have fuel solenoid failure, causing a lean condition and blown engine.

3. I personally prefer ColdFusionN2O over some of the other kits out there, but NOS, and NX are good kits as well. This is strictly personal preference due to literally installing dozens of their kits without failure, and they make most of their components in house.

4. All nitrous solenoids are made by 1 company (Adams & Adams), no matter whos label is on them.

5. Purge is not necessary for anything that you'll be doing, unless you want to spend more money to show off and waste nitrous.

6. An MSD RPM activation controller is good $100 insurance in case you over-rev. Ask a few others on here that failed to put this on and found out why the hard way.

7. Nitrousis dangerousfor your engine. A safe shot can be run hundreds of times on your engine without failure, but it still puts addedstress on the engine components, so your engine will wear out sooner than normal.

8. Get an SCT XCAL2 or similar tunable device and have a good dyno tune done to your car before you go off playing with the juice, or again, you'll learn why the hard way.

9. If you don't know what your doing, DO NOT PUT NITROUS ON YOUR CAR. This is where research and talking to others will pay off, or again, you'll learn the hard way.

10. If you have any more questions, no matter how stupid you think they are, go ahead and ask, or YOU WILL LEARN THE HARD WAY.

Ryan
