yeah the 99+ stangs should be able to walk all day long on the stock 3.4L, although i have a buddy with one that is pretty modded and he's running 14's in his 93 camaro i can't beat him

 

Who ever made that statement doesn't know cars. There is paper racing and there is actual racing. I have beaten an extremely built chevelle (granted he had mechanical failure,lol) i still won though. This race was common sense though. He had almost the full weight of a camaro, but with the smallest v6 version. Everyone should have seen that coming.

 

My brothers Turbo Tercel beat a Camaro, I bet that camaro owner was ashamed after all the trash talk he said before the race.

 

I keep hearing that too, that the 3.8 Camaro is faster than the Mustang 3.8 / 3.9. I've had both (both 5 spd, 3.8) and no way would my Camaro keep up with this 3.9 I have now. Now against the single port 3.8 that would be a close race.

 

Yea i forget which forum it was but they were saying how slow our cars are, and that we could never even come close to beating any kind of camaro no matter how big or small the engine.....again they dont know anything at all they prolly all drive riced out civics lol..

i think a new edge sixer would destroy that 3.4 gm had in the maros back in the early nineties, but the 3.8 gm motor would probably be a drivers race.
