CMP Sensor
Hey all. My check engine light has come on again for the 4th time with the code 0340, Camshaft Position Sensor or circuit failure..does anyone know how easy this is to fix? I have looked in my CHilton's Manual and it looks like a real pain in the a** to do by one's self. Can someone here help me out? Anyone ever replaced theirs before???

Hey thx. Man, I thought I was going crazy. It says a whole bunch of crap in the chilton's manual that I have that you have to worry about stator alignment and stuff like that or else the fuel system will get screwy and mess up the engine...but the guy at the parts store was like me too, what the heck is all that crap in the book for...

Turns out the part I bought isn't even the right one for my car. Seems that my part is not what is pictured in the manual that I have....but its the part that most of the parts stores here have listed...very strange. Looks like I may end up having to go to the dealer for the part eck.
