Useless Mods
so if i replace my cai with my stock intake and take the old filter out and put in a K&N filter and leave the silencer off it would be the same as havinga CAI.. im about to get some money back then.. lol.
Our stock exhaust manifolds won't restrict airflow until you hit roughly 350 hp. At that point, you'll find them to be the choke point. TB and spacers are a joke unless you are using a power adder. I wouldn't was time with a cold air intake either, but that is just me. Tuning without other mods is kind of a joke as well. For the money, you can do more for your car.
Here's the thing to think about:
When you see a compnay advertise they make X amount of power over stock. In no way, shape or form does that number need to come at the top of the power band. If you see (for example) a 7 hp gain, it might be at the low end of the power band. Meaning when they test they saw an extra 7 hp at 1200 rpm....which really does nothing for you if you are only thinking about adding to the magical peak hp number.

Im buying a nitrous setup in couple of months and was wondering if i take the cats off and slap on LTs,this will probably improve the times when I spray beause of the airflow?

turbonators, tornados, any of that junk
