Hi All,

I am trying to remove the headlightd and the third brake light (the one on the trunk) to clean them. For the headlights I pulled out two tabs on each, but the headlights seem to be stuck on something right behind the back (signal) side. Did I miss something?

Also, I am not sure how to remove the third brake light. Are there screws attaching it?

 

The headlights are in with little metal plugs on the side. simply pull and it pops right out.

The 3rd brake light, look under the deck lid and ull see where it screw on. just unscrew and it comes out.

I found the third brake light to be held by two screws and nuts. But it is IMPOSSIBLE to get any wrench or socket in there! The screw is sticking out too far for a socky, and there is not space for a wrench. Did I miss anything?

 

I took mine off in 5 mins with a deep socket. there wasnt any clearance issues.

 

yea i used a deep socket with an extension, 1/4"
