new fender from ebay is about $70 plus shipping from a auto salvage used they run from $120 to $145. I know because the same thing happened to me a year ago.

What is it with Mustangs and the general public. My wife and I went into a ice cream shop and was in it for maybe 7 minutes. We came out and I now have about a 8 inch scratch on top of the fender. Hmmmm, well the 97 is back in storage until June. I did work out most of the scratch but I just have to wonder why do people do this to cars.

Thats why where ever i go i park near the door and stay near a window.. i like to keep a clear line of site of my car, especially since in my area.. there is HUGE rivalry between high schools, one by one shopping center, mine by a shopping center and issaquah which pretty much covers all of down town.. ive had people luring around my car and giving my back window dirty looks kuz i sport the stickers from my football helmet.. its bad..

If i would have seen it id be in my car and on his *** in two seconds... id be seeking retribution lol.

i'm going in today to hopefully look at the security video and see what it saw. i'm still kinda bumed out about this whole thing. i'm gonna need a new fender for sure, but it looks like the bumper and splash shield will be ok, hopefully. dam, and i just got enough cash to get some new mufflers. i'll keep ya'll updated.

well the camera didn't see ****, witch really makes me mad.
i fould a place called certifit.com and they have new fenders for $85, my guess is unpainted. but does anyone know if it's a direct replacement, or is the fender spot welded onto somewhere.
estimate on paint cost also?

like a year ago i came into my driveway and my litte sisters had left a big rock in the way (it was dark i didnt see it) and i went over it with my front passenger wheel when the car came down it pushed the fender up and just cracked the paint along the wheel well.

for him to readjust the fender, and fix the paint (he had to match a fading laser red) it was like 235
