My car did it too, shocked my girlfriend and I every time we got out so I put a static strap on it and no more shocks. I got mine at Napa for $5.00 and used a trany mount bolt to hold it. The only thing that bugs me now is paople telling me I have some thing hanging from my car but it beats getting zapped..lol

My car was doing it a few weeks ago. I don't know what it's been like where you live, but for the past two month or so, we've had crazy weather. Like, 60 degrees one day (which is warm here), snowing the next. I think it has to do with that crazy changing.

dont know about dry, but its spring so its like 50 and damp...
but yea, since its a truck, i slide into the seat and slide out of the truck. so its greating the static...lol i can do it with my hair and a brush and shock my dog with it...its funny.
