Hey... I own a v6 mustang with GT rims, will 255's fit in the front? and 275 or 315 fit in the rear??

What size are the rims? If they're stock GT rims they're 17x8, right?

If they are stock `7" GT wheels, I wouldn't go wider than about 255.

i have 17x8's in the front with 245/ and they rub if i cut the wheel all the way

My drag rear wheels are 17x10.5 cobras on 315/35's with plenty of room. I have yet to find out the "max width" for the front, due to all the wheel, tire, and suspension combos out there.

stock GT rims you can get 275

275 on a stock 8" wheel for street use is pushing it....but I've seen it done.

275 on an 8" is really pushin it but on a 9 its fine
rear 315 is plenty wide enough but a 325 will fit with no alterations
on the front a 275 will fit with very very minimal rubbin, only when the wheel is at full ****, i am currently runnin 275's now on a 9" rim with an eibach pro/drop of 1.5"

i've been running 275s on my car for over 2 years just fine. i put 275s on the front and i hate it now though. they follow every groove and dip in the road and pull my car everywhere. sucks

275s fit the stock GT wheel, but you'll have a slight bulge. other than that, they actually fit just fine.
