Help V6 question
So normally what does this cost? I have been looking at motor which don't seem to be all that expensive, but what does a splitport normally range in price?
V6STANG07...you have been very helpful. I use to have a 02 mustang and got rid of it and I have always regretted it. Your information is so helpful. I just really want to get this one up and running good. So basically I need to rebuild the motor I have andget a splitport. Upper and lower intakes and heads off of a 99-03(is this stuff just replaces mine off of the 96 mustang)

it should just bolt right up cause the only difference in the heads and intakes, the block itself is the same engine, the ecu agian may have to be flashe due to the increased air flow form the split port and it bein a different engine
srry for the double but oh well
the cost for labor i dunno but i have seen nice low mileage splip port engines for like 500-800 bux, these were a great buy but they are def out there, i would check ebay or mpsautosalvage.com for an engine

if u have a hoist and it sounds as if your husband has some experience so just get u a chilton manual for your car and get him to treat it just like he would a chevy or w/e, good luck gettin it runnin and enjoy the extra 40hp
