H PIPE QUESTION

Dude, you're talking to people that know a lot about mustangs, take out work on this, mid pipes don't do jack for performance, the main performance gains come frome the two mufflers, not the mid pipe. The difference from y pipe to x, h, or straights, is maybe 1-2 rwhp, at best, something not noticible as there's more variation in your hp naturally than 1 or 2 rwhp. In other words, one run you may have 160, another 163, another 161, it just varies.

idk but after i got that hpipe fabbed up and on, the car had much more pull

No it didn't it's all in your head. If you would of went to the track/dyno before and after you'd be running both the same times, and would have the same dyno numbers.

haha mine cost 105 with tax and everything, but i think i was overcharged a lil bit, should run somewhere from 50-80 in my opinion

Depending on where you go and what kind you buy, o/r, and or catted, they will run anywhere from $200-$300, if a shop custom fabs one........ probably $200 or so, maybe less, but you'd have to call one to know for sure.

WOW $200 [sm=jawdrop.gif] maybe it cost that if ya get a full one fabbed up but just from mufflers to the cats it shouldnt be over 100

mine was $250.
weld in the crossover and the extra stuff needed for it is quite a nice work load.
