Default header question

I have a 2001, with a mac catback, and am thinking about getting a set of JBA shirty headers.
My question is do the headers just bolt onto my existing setup, or do I have to weld them on?

I agree shorty headers are a waste and you already have some now that are good up to 300 hp. I wouldn't go with long tubes unless you plan on racing a lot. For one they won't pass smog and you'll lose a lot of low end power. Also with no other engine mods headers are a waste of money.

Unless you want a turbo, then LT's will be a waist.

the v6 has headers from the factory so shorty headers don't do anything. to answer your question they just bolt on.

Well seeing as I actually have longtubes let me chime in, lt's are great for an overall power gain but, you WILL lose power down low, but it pays off I believe that the longtubes changed my entire powerband, I also feel like I have much more top end pull!
