ok let me make it simple....LTs are the top choice period....LTs can also be used with turbos if doing the STS(rear mount)style kit or the side scoop kit where the turbos are mounted where the side scoops would be and the people who make it have a filtration system for any water getting in...neways....turbos under the hood are easier done with shortys.... LTs will bring the top end better then shortys which will help the trq of our cars being V6s we need as much as we can....they also sound more aggresive....and if going all motor...the LTs

basically if you know your doing a turbo and want it under the hood get shortys....otherwise LTs period yeah u may pay more but doing cars rigth isn't cheap unless you can make your own parts

noooo!! not a throttle body spacer, and intake spacer it goes in between ur upper and lower intake to 1. cool the upper and 2 give a longer run for the air to travel
they are rated to help 7-9 rwhp down low
so those really work? never would have thought they actually did. wonder if i could use one with SSM's M112 kit? it would look cool

i for one plan on getting some BBK shorties. i don't want any MAC product on my car. one of my stock manifolds is cracked, but i don't want to replace it with another stock one. i would rather spend a couple hundred bucks on some nics shorties than a couple hundred bucks on MAC crap.

i have some BBK high-flow cats in my room waiting for me to have the extra cash for my shorties. the guy who did my exhaust even noticed the ticking from my exhaust. he offered to just weld up the stock ones, but i'd rather just have some better ones in there.

once you get to higher power ratings, LTs will only give you like 15-20 extra hp right? so what. not a big deal. well not a big ENOUGH deal for me to go out and spend money on MAC

and btw it is WASTE not WAIST. a waist is a prt of your body...tards [8D]

well cominus u were startin to **** me off at first then i just said, ahh hell with it w/e
lt's are a great mod unless u put a normal tubo in cause then they are in the way
throttle body spacers are crap unless used in a turbo application which then they wont help u enough to make them worth it
check out the sticky in 3.8mustang.com/forum
they have all the info on the intake spacers and yes they do work, i dont think u need one for the m112, u will have enough clearance issues as it is, i guess u could try and make a small 1/4" one to help with the heat but the blower is gonna heat up ne way from the screws so thats kinda a catch 22 ne way

The intake spacers have been dyno'd to proove the 7-9 hp increase(on splitports).. however, this is throughout the powerband not at peak. So does it work, yea, but its not that big of a difference. For $100 its a good buy. Definatly better than a CAI which is $150+ and nets you 1-2 ponies.

i know. i just don't want MAC on my car. and the extra few hp from the LTs isn't worth the extra hassle in having new mid-pipes fabbed and not passing smog (live in CA). with the shorties, i am just going to run some high-flow cats and keep my stock mid-pipes (with stock cats) to bolt-in when i need to have it smogged.
