hey guys i just got my oil changed, battery replaced, and new tires

i've already driven 44 miles and for some reason my gas meter still stays at max fuel and i'm pretty sure i don't get 44mpg

any suggestions of whats wrong?

nothing wrong. Mine stays up at F until about70 miles, then goes down to between there and 1/4. dont worry until you hit 200 miles and its there.

thats should be normal i dvive a about almost 40 miles a day too work and backand my gauge only moves slightly well cause iam driving normal. try drving it alittle longer too see if burns any gas if not then there is somethimg wrong in the gas tank (the guage in the gas tank ) might be shot or upside down.

Sounds normal to me. Mine will stay on full a long time even with city driving.

yea mine stays full till right around 40 also. put another 15-20 on it and i'd bet it will start moving

I put in around 13 gallons of gas, it clicks and i pull it out. I can go iver 120 miles before it gets off the F Line. Is that the sending unit? is there a way to adjust the gauge besides moving it manually?

mine stays up there until around 100 miles it's always done that, i think it is normal

Yeah, it's like it doesn't move for a long drive, and then I stop to take a leak, and get going again and it all vanishes lol

Yea there is space in pretty much every gas take above where the thing is that tells you how much gas you have, so as long as your in that space your gas gauge wont move.
