so i went down today and that was the price they gave me to get a new bumper and have it painted and whatnot for my 02 edge. im not sure if i wanna get it there though

im looking to see if they are giving me a good deal

 

looks like a good deal to me. paintjobs can be very expensive...

 

they said it would only be there for a day so can they even paint an entire bumper and have it out same day?

 

they may get one in that is already painted, so all they have to do is swap it out...

 

but they have it charging me for hours of work in the estimate

the way he told my buddy wo works there that i needed a new bumper

and he isnt charging me for the parts so he is either giving me a generous discount or im not getting a new bumper

 

I dunno then, never bouqht stuff from the dealer cuz they charge tons of $$$ for everything.. last time I needed a body panel for my DD (an '86 buick) i went to the local pic your part wrecking yard and got a new nose for it for 50 bucks... I struck a deer doing 65 and shattered the headlights and the fiberglass nose....
