Default CIA problem

So i installed my new CIA (ebay knock off) with an K&N and now my check engine light wont go off. Do i need to disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour for the computer to reboot, or what? I dont have a programmer so i cant run the codes...is it to much air going into the intake manifold and the computer is reading that and giving me the problem? Any help would be good...

thanks,
Matthew

You might have to reinstall the MAF screen.

yes, i was able, with alot of work ( andsome words i dont say in front of my mom) able to get the MAP, and the other two sensors (i dont know what they are for) into the grommits. so all the wholes are covered with what is suppose to be in them.

Is the screen still in or did you remove it? Some people (including me) have had problems without it even with the stock intake and a K & F filter.
