Wow you guys are awesome. I didn't think about swapping out the rear bumper. That is a good idea. I'm still not sure about the duals. How hard are the gt takeoffs to install? Or how much would a muffler shop charge me? Also I saw this kit on abc that has a different back bumper that might work. Its the GTR 9004 Body kit Version 1. It doesn't look too bad. I agree with not buying fiberglass. Thats one thing I liked about abc. Their price for urethane is pretty much the same as everyone else's price for fiberglass. I am just a big believer in " you get what you pay for ". Anyone have any alternative sites that are better, but around the same price? I see the "authentic saleen" urethane kits on ebay all the time for like $1200, but if I could get one for half that, then I could afford a hood or something, or hey even maybe the duals!!

Stangant. . . geez. You are awesome. Umm. . . I just have the stock rims at the moment, and my car is oxford white if that helps. Doesn't really matter on color though. It will give me a good idea anyway.

Thanks again guys. You have all helped alot !!

I am considering purchasing a body kit for my 01 v6 vert. I like the saleen kits, but my wife doesn't really want to get duals because she thinks its stupid and I don't know how a dual bumper would look without them. Anyone have pics of one ?

I keep hearing everyone talk about abcexclusive. How is their stuff? Are their kits good? How hard is it to install a kit? Do they just bolt on in place of the factory parts? How much should I expect to pay for paint? Sorry about the question attack, but I have never done anything with body kits. Don't hesistate to over simplify for me lol. Thanks yet again
We can obviously see who wears the pants in the relationship. j/k [8D]

I say go with the dual exhaust. Get an H-mid pipe with flows 44's. It'll be some what deep and not real loud. One thing about sixers is that our exhasut can only get so loud before it sounds like a tiburon. LOL. No but seriously, that right there will be your best bet.

I installed a mixed-up body kit on my last car (a '00 cougar) from www.krazykustomzonline.com. I got it on december '04 and drove few weeks later than a year...

It was made of fiberglass, and it's damn delicate, any hit on a bump, a sidewalk, another car will crack the bumper so i really sugest an urethane based kit. fiberglass is more difficult to install it 'cuz most kits aren't bolt ready so you'll need to drill both bumpers to make it fit.

Maybe i'll sound kinda gay but i'm thinking on buying the +05 roadster kit for my pony vert from pmp... here in mexico +05 mustang prices are sky high so this is the nearest thing on my budget. Does any one knows who already bought this kit?

I'm not trying to change the subject, but does anyone have any pics of a stock vert with the hard top tonneau covers on it? I want to see what that would look like too.
