Hi,
I have bought a 03 Mustang here in the U.K. Only problem being that before I can use it, its got to be registered in the uk. For this it has to past a u.k test to conformity.
I have done most of the things required for this test, but need help on the head lights. At the moment, the dipped beam lights dip to the right. For it to pass the test they have to dip to the left here in england. Ive taken the head light out and cant see any way in which the beam is angled. I'm starting to think that the dipped beam is angled some how with the way the elements are arranged in the bulb it self.
Has any body come across this or can give me some ideas on how to resolve this, its much appreciated.

Also it has a 6 disc cd unit in the dash that i need to remove. As someone has installed a mass of wires for sat nav which im taking out and the wires connect to the back of the unit. On a first look, I couldnt see a obvious way of taking the radio out. So a little help there would be good also.

For the headlights there is a kit that you can buy to be able to adjust them, I always thought that you could adjust them by the screws behing the head lights though. After seeing the kit I guess not.

for some reason, ford decided to put 2 sets of adjusters on the 99-00 lights. i found this out the other day when i put my old '00 ones back in. i was assuming that they adjust for "left/right". the top ones adjust up and down. BUT, i guess they took the left/right adjusters out for the 01 and ups. so basically the only thing i could think of is to get a set of 99-00 lights even though they are uglier.

and if you post this in the A/V section they can help you with wiring up the Navi unit.

 

do you still have the nav system and is it in tackt cuz i want 1 and have been lookin for it used since they cost so much

 

Thanks, i'll have a look about. It is fairly hard trying to locate parts for this car in the U.K, so I have bought the most the partsI need from U.S.A. My new fuel pump came this week, so im fitting that tomorrow.
As for the sat nav, it had a seperate screen, which was stolen. It was a VDO dayton sat nav unit which sat under the seat. As the cost of a replacement screen was a bit much, I decided just to take the whole thing out.
