We have had 3 CAI's, 2 mustangs and 1 Z. Both mustangs whistled and whistled the loudest between 75-80mph. The Z never whistled.

I like the whistle, it adds a little charactor to the car.

We just had an 80 degree day in michigan and my wistle kept kiking in and out like the seals my be expanding. I thought it was kind of strange.

Well since it's been beaten into the ground +1 to the whistle sound, and no, there is nothing you can do about it. My 5.0, however, doesn't really whistle, but my old 98 V6 did have a bit of a whistle with its CAI.

Dont you guys like the whistle? I love it..... but i can hardly hear it now cause of exhaust when i hit the gas but around 3,000 RPM's i hear a really loud whistle. I just love it.

I can't even hear if mine does or doesn't, but hey, that's what a stroked and camed engine will do to ya.
