Ive just fitted my new CAI, it sounds very nice under hard acceleration , what annoys me though is when coasting and you lightly touch the throttle you get a whistling sound, it annoys me, it sounds like from the throttle body area, can this be silenced ??[&:]

nope, they all do it for the most part. Mine isn't too noticable form the inside, but people hear it when I hit the gas from the outside.

It kinda sounds like a little turbo for people without a real turbo.....

 

yea mine makes a whistling sound too

 

it did it less when i took the gauze out in from of the Air flow sensor, my Check engine light hasn`t come yet , fingers crossed

that was exactly my first thought, for a second i was like, is that a 5.0 block? lol

 

is it just me, or is that engine rediculously clean.look at the alternator, and the ac compressor and the upper intake....damn. i detail cars and that crap is cleaner than mine.
