Default engine swap

i have a 2004 3.8 v6 mustang whats the biggest engine i can fit in the engine bay

The hood is the real issue. I'd to a 5.4L mod motor if I was going big.

You'll need the motor, ECU, fuel system, new front suspension, new front brakes, stronger K member, tranny, driveshaft, astronger rear axle and new gauge cluster.

Total cost is roughly one arm and one leg.

Nope, the 4.2L (or a 4.3L if you go that route) is a direct swap. No other changes needed.

don't you need to get it tuned, really badly, once you do that because the timing way off and the fuel ratio is really lean?
